A furniture hoist —an external furniture lift— moves your items up and down along the façade, through the window or the balcony, without using the staircase. We work with a 21-metre Paus hoist and up to 250 kg per lift, with an operator: our own team sets up the machine and runs it.
In Oviedo, Gijón and Avilés people call for it when the piece does not fit through the stairwell, or when carrying it up by hand would take several hours and risk damage. If the piece also has to be transported, we offer furniture transport and moves in Oviedo.
When you need a furniture hoist

Weight is not the only limit: the dimensions of the item and the opening of the window or balcony count as well. That is why it helps to send us the measurements beforehand, not just the approximate weight.

Why lift furniture with a hoist?
When the piece will not go up the stairs, the alternative is not «carrying it by hand»: it is risking the furniture, the wall and somebody’s back.
Up to 21 metres high
That is the maximum working height of the machine. Which floor it reaches in your case depends on the real height of the window and the space in front of the façade: we check it with your address and a photo.
Up to 250 kg per lift
Assembled wardrobes, bed bases, three-seater sofas, American fridges or safes fit well within that limit. Along with the weight we check the dimensions of the item and the window opening.
Faster than by hand
Carrying a large piece up a narrow staircase can take over an hour and several people. Along the façade the route is direct, though setting up and taking down the machine counts too.
No scrapes on stairs or walls
The item does not pass through landings, railings or doorways, so knocks are avoided both on the furniture and on the common areas of the building.

We check whether there is room to stabilise the machine in front of the entrance, whether the window opening is wide enough and whether parking should be reserved.

Call-out, estimated hours and staff, with VAT itemised and in writing, so you know where you stand before booking a date.

We work on the agreed date
We arrive, set up the hoist and take the items up or down. When we finish we dismantle the machine and leave the area tidy.
